Jean M. Cook

Cook, Jean M Jean Marie Cook (Bissonette), age 82 of Los Lunas, New Mexico passed away on January 4th, 2013 after a long struggle with Alzheimer�s Disease. Jean was born in Deer Lodge, Montana on March 31st, 1930, the second of four children. Her siblings are older sister Ila (deceased) of Deer Lodge, younger brother Paul (surviving) of Garrison, and younger sister Dolores (deceased) of Helena. Her parents, Howard P. (deceased) and Hattie M. Bissonette (Petersen) raised the family on a ranch near Hall, Montana. Jean graduated from Drummond High School and earned an Advanced Degree in Nursing from St. Patrick's School of Nursing in Missoula, Montana 1951. She was married to Robert A. Cook (deceased) on November 27th, 1952. Prior to her illness, Jean was an active member of the Episcopal Church. She was a �country girl�, who enjoyed golfing, gardening, farming and volunteering in the community. Jean and Bob had five children. Her sons Robbie, Craig, and Art Cook are deceased. She is survived by daughter, Jeanette and son Bruce along with 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 400 Huning Ranch West Loop, Los Lunas, New Mexico on Saturday, February 9th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow the service.
