Jean Fraissinet

 Jean L. Fraissinet, age 87, died peacefully in his hometown of Socorro, New Mexico on July 23, 2019. He was the son of Julius and Self Fraissinet. He was a 1950 graduate of Socorro High School and a US Army veteran. Jean worked at Holloman Air Force base for several years and later served his community as City Manager and as a Councilman. He was very active in state and local politics. He cherished his family and many close friends. Jean was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Josann Paz; brother, Delbert; and his wife, Lala. He is survived by his son, John Fraissinet (Susie); daughters, Llewellyn Fraissinet, Danielle Haley (Mark) and Jessica Garcia (Frank). His grandchildren are Anne Landavazo, Kimberly Rockliff, Nicole Gairdner, Aimee Haley, Sarah Haley, Kevin Haley, Josanne Garcia, and Frankie Garcia. He has eight great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 8:30 am at the San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro, New Mexico. A Mass will immediately follow with Celebrant John Anasiudu presiding. Burial will take place at the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery following service. Following the burial, a reception will be held at the San Miguel Parish Hall. Pallbearers will be Kevin  Haley, Mark  Haley, Estevan  Apodaca, Josiah  Landovazo.
