Jean E. Johnson was born December 2nd, 1965 in Duluth, Minnesota. She died suddenly on March 19th, 2021.

Beloved mother, Virginia Hartjoy of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and beloved father, Jack and wife, Pam Leonard of Olympia, Washington.

Jean was always out going. She loved to talk to people. She made friends easily and kept her friends throughout her life. She graduated and went to real estate school. She received her brokers license and started her own company. She lived in Wilkeson, Washington and worked in Buckley, Enumclaw and South Prairie, Washington. She was married to Ron Johnson and had two children, James and Jessica Johnson. Her 3rd son is Casey Smith, born to her and Andrew (Andy) Smith. Her brother is Jimmy Leonard of Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She had many friends she called sisters, DeeDee, Laurie, Tawne Dringle and Donna Hoskins. She was always there for her friends and they called her in their time of need. She always helped them whenever she could, beloved by all who knew her and her dear friend and companion, Pedro her dog.

She is survived by her mother, Virginia Hartjoy of Rio Rancho, NM; father, Jack Leonard and his wife Pam of Olympia, WA; brother, Jimmy Leonard of Rio Rancho, NM; children, James Johnson in US Air Force in JBER, Alaska, Jessica Johnson of Auburn, WA, and Casey Smith of Rio Rancho, NM had moved from Wikeson, WA; uncles, Robert Leonard od Mesa, AZ, Gary Leonard of Treasure Island, FL, William Welch and wife, Margie of Navajo Dam, NM, Jerry Welch of Rio Rancho, NM, Dannie Welch and wife, Kathy of Maple Plain, MN, Jimmy Welch and wife, Carol of East Falmouth, MA, Charles Welch of Mellen, WI; aunts, Lois Chandler and husband, Jim of Las Vegas, NV, Nancy Hasbrouch of Gordon, WI, Marlene Neumister and her husband, Jim of Rocksord, MN, Ella Christophersen and husband, Dale of Gordon, WI, Linda Swanson of Rio Rancho, NM; and many cousins and dear friends in Washington State.
