Jean R Schneider

SCHNEIDER - Jean Schneider, wife of NAVY Captain Tony F. Schneider for 67 years, passed away on January 29th 2011. She is survived by her son Frederic Ross Schneider and one grand daughter, Kelly Jean Schneider. Jean lived in the Albuquerque Community since 1965 when Capt. Schneider assumed the position of Commanding Officer of the U.N.M NROTC unit. She was active in Daughters of the American Revolution, with hobbies of genealogy, needlepoint, and painting. Jean enjoyed the full life of a high ranking career military officer's wife, a life that heavily included skiing, horseback riding, steeple chase, tennis, golf, big game hunting, camping, mountain hiking, Swimming, sailing, dancing and extensive world travel. She was extremely active in Officer's Wives Club societal functions. Jean had turned 89 on January 9th. Services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10:30 am, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel.
