Sprague, Jean E.
Age 71, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014. She was born in Ottawa, IL on February 11, 1943, to Theodore M. and Susan E. Morris. Jean graduated from Highland High School then attended El Camino College (Torrance, CA).  She then attended Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI) and the Bryman School (Cost Mesa, CA) and got a degree in medical office management. Jean also had a certification in the Usui method of Reiki Healings and attended  Albuquerque Business College.  Jean was a production & design editor with Pet Focus of New Mexico, a convention & sales assistant with Albuquerque Convention & Visitor's Bureau, a legal secretary with Kevin M. Brown Attorney at Law, Albuquerque, NM, she was also an office manager with Gardner-Zemke Co. in Farmington, NM. Jean was also a volunteer with Presbyterian Hospice Training.  Jean's other interest included medicine and law.  She was a secretary for the Villa Blanca Town Home Association for many years.  She was a member of the Eastern Hills Baptist Church and was involved in Ruth's Sunday School class.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her nephew Stephen T. Mercer and her beloved pets Gizmo, Gidget and Opal. Jean is survived by her sister, Joanna Conrardy, her niece, Jennifer Mercer, her grand-nephews Jeffrey Poulin and Brandon Poulin all of Albuquerque, NM, she is also survived by her cousins Kay Sollittlok and Rick Conrardy. Services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015, 10:00 am, at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris St NE.
