Jean F. Thompson

Jean F. Thompson died at home on October 4, 2014. Jean was a graduate of Westbrook Junior College and Tufts University. A native of the Boston area, she moved to the west with her young family. Jean was very active in local theater, appearing in many performances at the Albuquerque Little Theater, Vortex, and Adobe Theater, typically to rave reviews. An avid gardener and cook, Jean operated the Corner House Bed and Breakfast in her home. She will be well remembered by friends as the hostess of many festive gatherings. Jean was also involved with the Episcopal parishes of St. Matthew's and St. Mark's. She is survived by her children William Thompson, Robyn Najar, Jeffrey Thompson and Steven Thompson and grandchildren Christopher Thompson and Lucia Lowe.  A small memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Marks-On-The-Mesa Episcopal, 431 Richmond Pl NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. In lieu of flowers contributions in Jean's name may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
