Stetson, Jeanne E
Age 76, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014. She was born in Melrose, MA on January 13, 1938, to Patrick and Florence Eastman Eisan. Jeanne was raised in Mauldin, MA and graduated from Mauldin High School. At an early age, Jeanne worked for Ma Bell as a switchboard operator for 8 years. She married Ralph Stetson in 1972 and they moved to Socorro in 1977 after AT&T transferred Ralph to New Mexico. Jeanne opened up a T-shirt shop in the early 80's called "See Shirts" and Ralph had a TV repair shop. Jeanne enjoyed visiting the Good Samaritan nursing home and really loved to travel. Family was very precious to her and she supported all of her children and grandchildren through all of their sporting activities. Jeanne will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Patrick Eisan; and her husband, Ralph Thomas Stetson. Jeanne is survived by sons, Earl P. Higgs and wife, Laura, Scott Stetson and wife, Amber, and Eddie Higgs; sisters, Theresa Courterie and Mary Irving; grandchildren: Rebecca Talley and husband, Ryan, Mary Beth Meier and husband, Kyle, Alyssa Higgs and husband, Michael Antillon, Jennell Higgs, Ramon T. Stetson, Faith Stetson and Scott Stetson Jr.; great grandchildren; Maddy Talley, Libby Meier and Nyla Antillon.  Mass of Resurrecton will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015, 9:00 am, at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro.  Iurnment will be in the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery , Socorro .
