Jeffery Lee Rector

Jeffery (Jeff) Lee Rector (Ralston) passed away at 4:20pm on 4/4/25 at his home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He was born 6/10/57 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is proceeded in death by his parents Frank & Phyllis Ralston and biological father, Richard (Dick) Gene Rector.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lauri Jean (Huffman) Rector and their sons, Benjamin Ford Rector and Jacob Scott Rector.

Jeff is also survived by 6 younger siblings, Richard (Rick) Rector (Sally), Troy Ralston (Angie), Gina Hill (Bill), Frank Ralston (Tia), Tracey Shrout (Danni) and Scott Ralston and many nieces and nephews. .

Jeff was a car enthusiast and enjoyed working and modifying his own vehicles. He worked in alignment and brake shops, steel processing and rebuilding alternators and starters. He also worked for a hot rod shop as a fabricator. He watched all of the Nascar races that he could. He enjoyed off-roading in his 1984 AMC CJ7 and car shows in his 1969 Ford Falcon Station wagon. He loved going on road trips and adventures.

A Celebration of Life car show will be held at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Academy & Moon on Saturday, May 31st from 9am to 2pm, with a memorial at 11am.

Graveside services will be in October in Indiana.
