Jeffrey Allen Hewitt

HEWITT - Jeffrey Allen Hewitt, beloved father, passed away on Friday February 19, 2010. Jeff was born June 7, 1952 in Grand Rapids, MN to Jack and Virginia (LeVasseur) Hewitt. He graduated from Farmington High School and New Mexico State University where he earned a bachelors in Electrical Engineering in 1975. He worked in power construction in California, Arizona and Washington State. Beginning in 1986 he served in the Air Force where he was promoted to the rank of Captain. He was stationed in New Mexico, Germany, Spain and Panama. He then returned to New Mexico and Arizona where he worked in sales. Jeff was an avid Vikings Fan and he enjoyed working in his garden. He was always the life of the party and will be forever missed. He is survived by his children Elena, Cristina and Benjamin Hewitt; his brother Dale Hewitt and his wife Debby; his nephews and nieces, Kelly Taber, Deena Ditus, Mike Hewitt, Chris Duchow, Tasha Costello, Deana Hewitt and Derek Hewitt. He also leaves behind his beloved girlfriend, Jennifer Call, her son Jason Call and his wife Carmen, her daughters, Tara and her husband Scot Knutson and Holly Call and all her grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Gary and Brian. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Hewitt, Dale Hewitt, Derek Hewitt, Justin Serna, Tomas Serna and Jesus Hernandez.
