Jennie Aragon

Jennie Aragon is now with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, as of March 30, 2025 at age 92. Jennie was born in Gallup, New Mexico, to her mother, Rosaura M. Sedillos, and father, Juan J. Sedillos.

She was a beautiful spirit who loved to go to the casino, play bingo, and visit the senior center, where she had many friends. She was Catholic and lived a generous life, taking care of others. She loved roosters. She would prepare sweet rice to nourish her family, which held special memories that bonded them together. She loved to play cards with her grandchildren and shared many laughs and quality time with family and friends.

She was preceded by her brother Frank Sedillos, and four sisters Julia Gonzales, Andrea Carrillo, Dolores Mazon, and Rosie Bergman. Also her granddaughter Donna Apodaca.

She is survived by her 3 children Sandra E Apodaca-Rhoades, Allen Rhoades and Beverly Weifenbach (Craig). Her grand children Larry Rhoades, Nicholas Apodaca, Jennie Mejia, Reginald Rhoades, and Adam Ruiz. Her great grandchildren Cassandra Apodaca, Beverly Rhoades, Larry Rhoades, Joshua Padilla, Isaiah Apodaca, Marcus Padilla, Christopher Padilla, and Paul Baca. Her great-great-grandchildren Jaxen Rhoades, James Apodaca-Avritt, Zoë Rhoades, Allen Padilla, Matthew Padilla, Julianna House-Padilla, Louis Rhoades, Lucille Rhoades and Alizae Apodaca (Lopez).

Cheryl Bergman, Donna McDonald, and Gail Wagner; who were always there for Jennie. Their generous spirit is a light for Jennie and family.

Dorothy Padilla, Arleen Serrato, Eileen Adams, and Sylvia Safley always providing for Jennie and her family. Thanks for the prayers and presence.

Rita Rodriguez her love for Jennie, her family and Rita’s graceful presence was always known.

Many family members and friends shared their love, support and blessings for Jennie throughout her lifetime. Generations of family members nieces, and nephews thank you. May God bless you all.

A mass of Christian services will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114. Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 at 10:00am.
