Jennie S. Chavez

On Saturday, March 21, 2020 Jennie went home to be with the Lord.  Jennie is survived by her husband of 50+ years, Joe Chavez Sr; son Fred Romero and wife Donna; daughter Grace Brophy and husband Jack; a stepson Joe Chavez Jr and wife Teresa; as well as a step-daughter Theresa Gutierrez.  Jennie was also survived by her sister Antoinette Sanchez.  Jennie was preceded in death by her son Father Joey Romero and grandson Chris Romero.  Jennie had several grandchildren and great-grand-children, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews, and several cousins. Jennie also had an extended circle of friends.
Jennie was actively involved in several church choirs playing guitar and singing at various church activities. Jennie enjoyed reading scripture and taking many notes on several scriptural subjects.
Jennie also enjoyed going out to eat with friends and family.  Jennie enjoyed an occasional outing to the casino with her son and daughter-in-law. Jennie had previously enjoyed taking an active social role at her community club house where she was a regular attendee at many functions.  
Private graveside services will be held with immediate family.
