Cortez , Jennie C Age 103, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014. She was born in Golden, NM on March 25, 1911, to Carlos and Maria (Maestas) Chavez. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Henry Ramirez; four brothers; two sisters. Jennie is survived by her sons, Joe Ramirez and wife Nonie, Ernest Ramirez and wife Linda; daughters, Mary Winsor-Storrs, Trine Herendez and husband Michael; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 11, 2014 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM.
