Jennie S. Madrid

MADRID - Jennie S. Madrid, 91, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at her home in Socorro, NM surrounded by her loving family. Jennie was born on June 24, 1919 in Escondida, NM to Rogerio and Ciprianita (Naranjo) Salazar. She is survived by her loving daughters, Helen Chavez and husband, Rumaldo; and Elizabeth Patterson; her step daughter in law, Esther Ebler; 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren. Jennie was a lifelong resident of Socorro. She loved crafting, crocheting, and quilting. Jennie enjoyed visiting casinos. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Ebler; and Alfred Madrid; her step sons, Robert Ebler; and Frank Richard; three brothers; and two sisters. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 8:30 am at the San Miguel Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will follow at 9:00 am with Father Andrew Pavlak. Interment will be held in the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brandon Valles, Tony Chavez, Mike Appel, Pat Patterson, Robert Ebler, and Eric Vargus.
