Jennifer Lynn Brown

Jennifer Lynn Brown, age 44, passed away in the early hours of March 16, 2024, in her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jenn was born April 12, 1979 in Ames, Iowa to Peggy Quillen and David Laube.  She was the first of three children.  She was a graduate of Ames High School, Class of 1997 and furthered her education at Kaplan College, receiving her certification as LPN in 1999.  Jenn worked at Life Mission Family Services as an LPN for six months and as an in-home personnel care provider for her stepdaughter, Jaylan.  She was a huge Colts fan, and loved being a mother and grandmother.  Jenn had a big heart and was willing to help anyone.  She also enjoyed shopping.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Laube, and Ric West-Lytle, father of her twins, Hayley and Heaven.

Jenn is survived by her spouse, Anthony Brown; mother, Peggy Quillen; grandmother, Ruth Nelson; aunts; Patty Nelson, Penny Clarke, Sherry Baldus, and Judy Baldus; children, James Rasmussen, Hayley Castillo, and Heaven Rasmussen; stepchildren, Brandon Rutherford, Calleigh Brown and Jaylan Brown; brothers, Jason Newberg and Nicholas Tucker; grandchildren, Hayven Castillo, Landen Honts, Rozzlynn Rutherford, Maylynn Rutherford, Clemintine Rutherford, and Emma Rutherford; as well as, many more family and friends.
