Burk, Jerry Robert Jerry Robert Burk was born on February 5, 1944 in Decatur, TX and passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 in Albuquerque, NM after a valiant battle with lung cancer. He was a loyal employee of Broce Construction/Mountain States Construction and LaFarge and a long time resident of Peralta, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, RB and Mary Burk and Ola and TS Cable and grandson, Colin Burk. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Karon; son, Robert and wife Lisa; daughter, Yvonne; 3 precious grandchildren, Benjamin, Brian and Alyssa; brothers, Kenneth and wife Carol Whitecotton, Glenn and wife Susi Whitecotton; and sisters, Lina Jo Flusche, Laveoada Nance and Stella and husband Kevin Manion. A Visitation will be Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. also at Daniels Family Funeral Services.
