Jerry T. Trujillo, age 70, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 13, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born in Ponderosa, NM to his parents Fidel and Re Fugio Trujillo September 20, 1952.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Manuel Trujillo; sister, Lena Sanchez; sister, Marcella Cordova; brother, Eddie Trujillo; and sister, Emma Romero.
He is survived by his beloved sons, Lorenzo Trujillo and Donicio Trujillo; brother, Roger Trujillo (Viola) of Albuquerque, NM; Sister, Martina Arebalo of Arvada, CO; brother, Mike Trujillo (Rose) of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Albert Trujillo (Pat) of Denver, CO; brother, Fidel Trujillo (Emily); and also many nephews and nieces.
Jerry’s interests and hobbies included camping, fishing and in his later years going to the casinos. He also had a passion for his peach trees. He had a sacred ritual for watering the peach trees and looked forward to when the peaches were ripe and ready to be picked. He would call family, “Come and get your peaches.” Sometimes he would have the peaches ready and with that grin of his would say, “I picked them myself” and always threw in a peach pie which was extra special.
