Jesse O. Faulkner

Jesse O. Faulkner passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 26th, at his home in Albuquerque, NM.

Jesse was born in Haskell, TX in 1936. One of seven children, Jesse learned the importance of hard work at a young age. He realized that he had a knack for fixing things so he pursued career opportunities that furthered his desire to be self employed, utilize his mechanical talent and his ability to put people at ease. Jesse and his first wife Charlotte Krause had three beautiful children during their short time together. Jesse met his current wife of 47 years, Betty in Pueblo, CO. They shared a love of travel, hard work and dedication to their combined 7 beautiful children. Jesse was a pillar of the community, he was a hard working, dedicated and self taught businessman. He owned many service stations, gas stations and auto repair facilities. His last business venture prior to retirement was Jess’s Economy Tire and Auto where he enjoyed working with his children and grandchildren.

Once retired, Jesse enjoyed traveling all over the country with his beloved wife. They traveled extensively and settled down in Peralta where they lived a country lifestyle. He finally realized his dream of owning a horse, other livestock and the slower pace of life. He reached a point where all of his dreams were met. He and his beloved wife moved back to Albuquerque where they spent his final days laughing, loving and enjoying each other’s company.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, sister, three bothers, son, William R “Randy” Johnson, daughter, Jenny E Matthews. He is survived by his wife, Betty A. Faulkner, brother, James Faulkner and his wife Janice, brother, Steve Faulkner and his wife Janece, son, Roger Faulkner and his wife Janice, sons, Jeffrey Johnson and James Johnson, daughter, Carrie Hubly, daughter, Mandy Wood and her husband Russ, 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends who loved him.

Visitation is Friday, April 29, 2016 at 4:00 pm. Services will be held April 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, followed by graveside services at Sunset Memorial Park.
