Our incredible mother Jessie Gabaldon, who traversed this beautiful earth for 95 productive years has peacefully passed over and joined her husband of 65 years, Roger Gabaldon Jr. and her parents, Romelia and Henry (Arakichi) Harada, her son Steven Gabaldon, her grandson Zak Gabaldon, her siblings, Mary Gonzales, Asia Nottoli, Genevieve Del Curto, Lucy Chavez, and Alberto Harada. Jessie was devoted to her family and very strong in her faith. She always made sure that anyone who came to her home never left hungry. She was always willing to lend a helping and hand and visit and comfort those who were sick. She was a member of the Legion of Mary and also voted as Woman of the West. She is survived by her brother, Henry Harada Jr. and wife, Earlene; her children, Roger Gabaldon III and wife, Teresa; Priscilla Gabaldon; Dennis Gabaldon and wife, Brenda; and Sandra Gabaldon. She is also blessed with 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Jessie was also fortunate to have the opportunity to help raise numerous children in the beautiful community of Socorro. The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the good people of Socorro who have always been so wonderful to our mother. Also we would like to express our deepest gratitude to the tremendous professional and caring staff of Good Samaritan. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to invite anyone who wishes to give a donation  to send it to the good people at Good Samaritan. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at 10:00 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real , Socorro with the Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 10:30 am. Father Andrew Pavlak as Celebrant. Burial will be in the San Antonio Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Gabaldon Jr., John Paul Chavez, Austin Gabaldon, Dr. Justin Dressel, Peter Del Curto, and Riis Sanchez.
