Jessie Wilson

Wilson, Jessie 92, of Magdalena, NM went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 30, 2012 surrounded by her loving daughters. Jessie was born in Ava, MO on May 2, 1920 to Luther and Lila Riley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, Joe Wilson; her son, Richard Wilson; one grandson, Terry Cearley; one great grandson, David Cearley; her sons-in-law, Darrell Cearley; and C.B McCan; and four brothers and two sisters. Jessie moved to Magdalena in 1942. She loved to fish and work in her garden. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, puzzles, and collecting sea shells. Jessie is survived by her daughters, Sybil Cearley; and Betty McCan of the family home; Joan Russell and husband, Lawrence of Stanley, NM; her son, JC Wilson and wife, Lynn of Elko NV; 12 loving grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Magdalena Cemetery. Pallbearers are Larry Cearley, Clayton Haskew, Steve Carter, Marcos Munoz, Mace McCan, James Perkins, Clay Russell, Robert Wilson, Danny Wilson, and John Cearley. Jessie was a strong, vibrant, and loving woman. She was the center of the Wilson Family. She will be sorely missed and never forgotten. We love you Mom and Grandma!
