HUESING, Jim, age 69, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in Rio Rancho, NM while surrounded by his family. Jim was born March 10, 1946 in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of John and Georgia Frances (Perry) Huesing. He is survived by the love of his life, Sandy Greenwalt; his brother, John P. Huesing; nephew, Todd Starbuck; nieces, Christina and Danielle Huesing; great nephews, Jameson and Julius Landin; and a host of friends. Jim was an Eagle Scout and Red Cross Certified Lifeguard. He worked during the summers of his teen years at Scout camps and private camps as a life guard and waterfront director.  He later moved on to sailing and being a member of a crew on a 1st place racing boat on Lake Michigan.  He enjoyed square dancing, snow skiing, motorcycles, Ham radio, playing guitar, astronomy and exploring the US in his beautiful motorhome. Having earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Iowa in Electrical Engineering, he had a very successful career working for G.E., Loridan, and Presbyterian Hospitals managing their computer service departments. Jim retired from Presbyterian in 2012.
