Carrillo, Jimmy Joseph
Age 71, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017. He was born in Socorro, NM on November 18, 1945, to Aurelio and Delfina Rivera Carrillo. Jimmy was a Custodian at NM Tech for 35 years and retired in 2003.  He enjoyed going to watch The Lobos and The Socorro Warriors games and also liked to fish and to hunt. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Cornelio Carrillo.
Jimmy is survived by his devoted mother, Delfina Carrillo; his sister, Kathy Carrillo; cousins, Mike and Mary Jojola, Lalo Gonzales, Viola Chavez, Tommy Gonzales, Juan Martinez, Annabelle Gonzales, as well as many other family members.
Visitation will take place at Daniels Family Funeral Services Socorro Chapel, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM on May 2, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The Holy Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at 8:30 am at San Miguel Catholic Church, Socorro, NM with The  Mass of Resurrection to follow at 9:00 am.  Celebrant Father John Anasiuda. Pallbearers will be Adolfo Baca, Tommy Gonzales, Peter Flores, Johnny Flores, Andy Martinez and Edward Chavez.  Inurnment will take place at the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
