Jimmy Pino

Pino died June 27, 2011, in Albuquerque. He was born May 8, 1921, into the Towering House People Clan and born for the Red Bottom People Clan. Pino worked at the Union Pacific Railroad, was a rancher and was part of the 935th Bombardier Squadron in the U.S. Army. He was involved in chapter government by attending many chapter meetings, actively involved in Ramah Veteran Association. Survivors include his son, Stewart Wood of Pine Hill; daughters, Della Ellsworth of Ramah, Nettie Lee of Shiprock, Jeanette Pino of Ramah, Genevieve Pino of Vanderwagen, Roberta Pino of Pine Hill, Kayleen Pino of Albuquerque; sister, Maggie T. Martine; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Pino was preceded in death by his wife, Katie N. Pino; sons, Austin Pino, Emerson Pino; three grandchildren.
