Joan “Jenny” Ahlert
At the age of 91, on January 26th 2017, Jenny left this earth to be with the Lord, her husband Richard “Dick”, and her two sons Kenneth and Christopher. She was the epitome of a lady with her poise and grace and a kind and gentle voice and heart. Although she truly enjoyed all the years of working as a secretary/office assistant mostly through Kelly Services, her true passion was in volunteering and sharing the kindness and love from her whole being.
Jenny is survived by her daughter-in-law, Terry Ahlert, grandchildren Andy Sydlowski (Michelle), Brenda Merchant (Cliff) and Tracey Frohreich (Hans), Great-grandson Malachai Sanders, Nigel and Quinn Sydlowski, Parker Frohreich, great-granddaughter Zoe Frohreich, sister Winnie Marton, niece and recent housemate Teresa Nyarady and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She is and will continue to be truly missed. A void we cannot fill but with our memories. Viewing will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home on February 14th, 2017, from 11:00AM to 1:00pm. Funeral services will be held on February 14th, 2017 at 1:00pm at Oak Hill Funeral Home followed by burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
