Joan Signe Collins

Joan Signe Collins, 88, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020. Joan was born on September 3, 1931 in Camden, NJ, and grew up on the East Coast. She was the daughter of James and Signe Caller. Joan and her family moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1954 where she resided until moving to Santa Fe, NM in 1965

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Collins, in November 1988, and her son, JamesW. Collins in February 1989. She is survived by her daughter Kelli L. Collins and son-in-law, Michael L. Wilson. Joan has twin granddaughters, Lindsay and Alexandra Barr, as well as her step-granddaughter, Lindsay M. Strobbe and husband, Joseph D. Strobbe, along with their children, Landon, Cameron, Claire, and Joey. 

After her husband's and son's deaths, Joan returned to Albuquerque for the remainder of her life. During this time, she met her life-partner, Pat Patton, and spent many happy and fun years traveling, taking cruises, and becoming snowbirds in Lake Havasu, AZ, until Pat's death in November 2014

A Private burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
