It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jo Ann Woisin, a loving homemaker who dedicated 64 years of her life to caring for her family. Jo Ann was born on January 9, 1940, in Queens, New York, to parents Jean Braun Fabio and father, Patrick Fabio; and who peacefully left this world on April 25, 2024, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
Throughout her life, Jo Ann found joy in simple pleasures. She was known for her talent in crocheting blankets for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, leaving behind warm memories and cherished heirlooms. In addition to her crafting skills, Jo Ann enjoyed spending time playing bingo, board games, and puzzles, always bringing laughter and fun to those around her.
Jo Ann was a beloved wife to Lawrence B. Woisin for 40 years and a dedicated mother to her children. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence and daughter Regina. Jo Ann is survived by her children: Dwayne T. Woisin of Rio Rancho, NM; Larry Versyn (Linda) of Blue Ridge, GA; Keith E. Woisin (Christine) of Rio Rancho, NM; Troy A. Woisin (Una); and Tracy L. Woisin-Quick (David) of Taylor, AL. Her legacy also lives on through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will always carry her love in their hearts.
A service to honor and remember Jo Ann's life will be held at St Thomas Aquinas in Rio Rancho on May 18th, 2024. The service will begin at 10:00 AM followed by a Mass at 10:30 AM at the same location. Jo Ann's kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
