Age 24, of Albuquerque, attained eternal happiness on June 19, 2016 following a month long battle with ARDS. Known as a quiet, beautiful soul, Joanna always saw the good in people and her faith hope and love were infectious. She was born 5-16-1992 to John and Carol Hyland. She is survived by brother, Michael; sister-in-law, Emma; grandparents, Serafico and Eva Carrillo and a multitude of family members; her fiancée, Stephen Sloan, who made her last year on earth her happiest and her BFF, Alex Marquez always made her laugh. Visitation will be held June 22, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm followed by a Rosary at Daniels Family Funeral Service Sara Rd Chapel. A Mass will be prayed on June 23, 2016 at 10:30am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 1502 Sara Rd.
