Joanne McWethy

Joanne McWethy, passed away on July 23, 2024 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She was born on February 3, 1935, in Forest Township, Michigan, Genesee County. Joanne led a life filled of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will be held dear by those who knew her.

Joanne attendedt Pontiac High School in Michigan, where she graduated in 1953. It was there that she laid the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth. She went on to marry the love of her life, Kyle D. McWethy, in a beautiful ceremony in Pontiac, Michigan. Their union remainedunbreakable for forty-four fulfilling years.

Aside from her academic and family life, Joanne had a passion for animals of all kinds. Her compassion knew no bounds when it came to our furry friends. In moments of tranquility, Joanne could often be found engrossed in intricate puzzles, unraveling their mysteries one piece at a time.

Joanne McWethy is survived by her son Kirk McWethy and grandchildren Amber Trevino and Ryan Trevino. She was preceded in death by her husband Kyle D. McWethy, her daughter Robin McWethy Percell and son Stephen McWethy.

In the tapestry of life, Joanne's threads were woven with kindness and love, and her legacy will shine  through the memories shared by family and friends alike. Joanne's presence will be  missed but the light she brought into this world will never dim.

May she rest in eternal peace knowing she was cherished beyond measure during her time on this earth.
