Joe S. Gonzales

Gonzales, Joe S. Age 89, a longtime resident of the Rio Rancho and Corrales area passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. He was born on October 28, 1924 to Ricardo and Bersabe Gonzales of Puerto de Luna, NM. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry and general handy-man duties. His greatest joy was helping the elderly by driving them to their appointments and to the senior center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sophie Gonzales; and son, Paul Gonzales. Mr. Gonzales is survived by his children, Carol Martinez and husband, Manuel, of Belen, NM, Manuel Gallegos and wife, Midgie, of Corrales, NM, Kathy Gallegos of Boulder, CO, and Joseph Gonzales of Rio Rancho, NM; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd, Rio Rancho, NM.
