Joe Anthony Hernandez, Jr.

Hernandez, Jr., Joe A. Loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the age of 54. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Joe and Angie Hernandez. Joe adored his family and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed football a true fan of the Chicago Bears. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Joe is survived by his loving wife Linda Hernandez; children Ruby Hernandez and David Lopez, Anthony Hernandez significant other Rita Dominguez, Georgia Hernandez and husband Thomas, Joe Hernandez III and wife Naomi and Chris Romero and wife Alice; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters Christine De la Rosa, JoAnn Griego; brothers Edward Hernandez and Johnny Hernandez and wife Phyllis and numerous relatives and friends. Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Visitation will take place from 4:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Garcia Mortuary Chapel of Angels, 717 Stover SW, Albuquerque, NM, followed by a reciting of the Rosary at 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, October 21, 2013 at St Francis Xavier, 820 Broadway Blvd SE Albuquerque, NM; Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery .
