John B. Ellis

Ellis, John B. Age 75, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since his birth was welcomed home to our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 16, 2012. John was born on June 3, 1936 to John R. Ellis and Villa A. Ellis-Brown. He married Frances A. Ellis on October 25, 1963. They were married over 48 years. He was preceded in death by his father and mother John Ellis and Villa Ellis-Brown and brothers Clyde and Tommy Ellis. He is survived by his wife, Frances Ellis; daughters, Joyce Ellis, Carol Ellis, Janet Sciarrillo and her husband Michael Sciarrillo and Cindy Ellis; son-in-law, Mike Collins; grandchildren, Caleb Sciarrillo, Preston Sciarrillo, Brooklyn Sciarrillo and Toriana Sciarrillo all residents of Albuquerque, NM; and many nieces and nephews. John loved the Lord and was a Christian. He was a hard worker, often doing jobs that most would not be able to handle. He was known for walking all over Albuquerque and riding the buses. He loved to listen to the radio and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the NY Yankees. His daughters will always remember him for all the summer baseball games that he pitched from his front yard. The entire neighborhood of kids would join the game each evening as he pitched hundreds of baseballs. John is loved and will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Faith Chapel Church at 1726 Girard NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. The churches phone number is 256-7749.
