John Peter Ford, Jr.

Ford, John Peter Jr. Age 88, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012. He was born in El Paso, TX on December 30, 1923 to John Peter and Gertrude Anne (Symons ) Ford. John was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary. He is survived by his children, Colleen Meseroll, Dan Ford, Jerry Ford, Jeff Ford; grandchildren, Molly, Katie, Andrea, Sam, and Carla. John graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and was employed with Sandia National Labs as an Engineer for 31 years. He also served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. His family thanks Haven Care, who cared for John with love and devotion for over six years. A Prayer Service will be held at 5:30 pm, Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will be held with military honors, Friday, August 10, 2012 at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
