John Joe Gallegos

GALLEGOS-John Joe Gallegos, age 78, resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away February 12, 2009. He was born on January 6, 1931, to parents Juan Gallegos and Nikki (Gutierrez) Gallegos, in Albuquerque. John enjoyed playing guitar, and started the band “Family Affair”. He loved to joke and kid-around and always wanted to make people laugh. He loved spending time with his family, his grandchildren, and entertwining a life of love with his beautiful wife, Victoria. He was the ultimate father, grandfather, husband, friend, and man of God. John is preceded in death by Stella Montoya Gutierrez, who raised John; wife, Victoria; brothers, Paul and Freddie Gallegos; daughter, Geradette Victoria Gallegos; and brothers-in-law, Pete Barboa and Frank Armijo. He is survived by his brothers, Ignacio Gallegos and wife, Terry, and Raymond Gallegos and wife, Mitchelle; sisters, Stella Barboa, Criselda Nieto and husband, Albert, Virginia Sanchez and husband, Fernando, and Helen Armijo; sons, Michael Reyes Gallegos and life partner, Theresa Mae Garcia, John Steve Gallegos and wife, Annabel C.; daughters, Patricia Bertha Gallegos, Catherine Rose Evangelesta and husband, Steven; Victoria Ann Mariscal and husband, Gabriel Ruben, and Crystle Marie Geradette Gallegos (Brandon Lee Stephenson); grandchildren, Steve Anthony Orona, Analeisha Rose Gallegos, Alexa Lee Armenta, Gabriel Ruben Mariscal, Mychal Anthony Mariscal, Roman David Mariscal, Dallas Alahna Mariscal, Julian Javier Mariscal, Oscar Rojer Evangelesta, Madison Frederica Evangelesta, Leonidious, Ramsey, Cleopatra, Leah, Pharah Gallegos.
