John Richard Gill

GILL - John Richard “Jack” Gill, 73, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 in Socorro, NM. Jack was born on April 3, 1938 to James Joseph and Teresa (Vail) Gill in Attica, NY. He is survived by his loving wife, Anita (Groves) Gill; his devoted children, Darralee Dick; Deanie Vigil; Michael Shelburne; Shawn Merriman; and Terry Shelburne; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Jack was a proud Veteran and retiree of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved granddaughter, Brittany Merriman; one brother, James Gill; and his nephew, Jessie. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 3:30 pm at the First Baptist Church in Socorro with Pastor Bob Farmer officiating. There will also be another Memorial Services back in Cocoa, FL at the Discovery Christian Center on May 14, 2011 at 10:00 am.
