John Richard Jackson

John Richard Jackson, 61, of Farmington, joined our LORD on Monday, March 23, 2009, at home with his family by his side. John was born June 21, 1947, in Yakima, Wash., to Burl Jackson and Alice May Somners Jackson. John grew up in Farmington and graduated from Farmington High School in 1966. He spent most of his life in sales and was co-owner of J & T Distributing Company, Inc., with his wife, Shirlie R. Jackson. John loved fishing and camping and being with his family and friends. John is survived by Shirlie, his wife of 26 years; his parents; sisters, Ellen (Tim) Timmerman, Beryl Scott, Sally Jackson; brother, Robert Jackson; sons, John Jackson and David Jackson, of Washington state; stepdaughter, Stephanie (Phillip) Betts of Aztec; stepson, Richard (Tammy) Austin of Aztec; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
