Age 87, a resident of Rio Rancho, and later Albuquerque, NM for 23 years, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014. He was born in Jamaica, NY on August 21, 1927, to John Patrick and Marion (King) O'Hara. He was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Sass; brother, Edward O'Hara. John is survived by his wife, Patricia O'Hara; children, John O'Hara, Jr. and husband Roy Schmitt, Robert O'Hara; grandchildren, Brian O'Hara, Jennifer Schmitt, Kathy Schmitt and their children. A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday,  November 19, 2014 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. A Funeral Service will be held at 8:30 am, Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Chapel, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM.
