John S Pacheco

Pacheco, John S. Passed away in the early evening hours of Friday, June 29, 2012 in his Albuquerque home. A devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, he enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, having a good laugh and was always there for anyone who needed his help. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Seferina (Romero), his son, Christopher (Janine) and his granddaughter Isabella. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert (Juliette), Juan Cruz (Isabel), Antonio (Katie), Toby (Janice), Henry, and sister Gloria (Nino). He is preceded in death by his mother, Teresita, his father Juan Esteban, and his brother Alfonso. He graduated from Rio Grande High School in 1966 and afterward joined the U. S. Army where he was stationed in Germany. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 8:00 AM at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Albuquerque. The Mass will be celebrated directly afterward at 9:00 AM. Interment will take place at Vista Verde Cemetery in Rio Rancho, NM. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
