John A. Sisneros

John A. Sisneros (Johnny), age 93, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021. He was born in Milagro, NM on March 16, 1928, to  Felipe and Paz Sisneros.  He proudly served in the Army Air Corps in 1946, stationed in Eglin Field, Florida.  He was a World War II Victory Medal recipient.  He married the love of his life, Magdalena Tapia on September 27, 1948, in Santa Rosa, NM.  He worked as a meat cutter - butcher for many years.  John loved the sport of boxing, pro wrestling and working out in his gym.  He attended Calvary Church in Albuquerque.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Paz Sisneros; grandson, Daniel Antonio Sisneros; and his 11 siblings.

John is survived by loving wife of 72 years, Magdalena Sisneros of Albuquerque, NM; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Tammy Sisneros of Las Cruces, NM; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Monica and Michael Segura of Albuquerque, NM; great-granddaughters, Ava Segura and Sadie Segura, both of Albuquerque, NM.

Service will be held Friday, May 21, 2021, 11:00 a.m., Daniels Family Funeral Services - Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.  Reception immediately following service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given in John's honor to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
