John M Stephens

John Michael Stephens (Mike) April 15, 1945 to April 15, 2012 passed away on Sunday after a short fight with cancer. He is survived by his spouse of eleven years Linda, his sons Robert Michael Stephens and finance Jocelyn of Albuquerque, NM, David Matthew Stephens and wife Jodi of Huntington Beach, CA, grandchildren Jason, Stars, Maya, Anicia, Natasha, Aaron, Kylie and Jacob, brother Jerry Stephens and wife Donna of Sandia Park, NM, nephew Tony Stephens of Rio Rancho, NM and niece Jerilynn Huebschman of Austin TX, brothers-in-law Robert and Michael Patterson of Albuquerque, NM, his step-daughter Chrisi Reid of England and step-son Matthew Waite of Albuquerque, NM. Mike served in the Navy from March 31, 1965 to February 21, 1969 Petty Officer 3 rd class E4. Mike was proud to have served on the USS Kearsarge. He was born in Maywood, CA and lived in El Paso TX, St Louis MO and returned to Albuquerque in 1978. He worked for Grants Steel for twenty three years.
