John Vlahos

VLAHOS-John Vlahos, 1924-2011, age 87 passed away on January 31, 2011. Born in New Bedford, Ma, and raised in NYC, he married Lydia Arzan in 1955. After the birth of their first daughter, Christine the family moved to New Milford, NJ where they raised two additional children, Mary Ellen and Alexander. The family moved to Albuquerque in August, 1977 where they have resided since. John is preceded in death by his wife Lydia, his parents and many brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter Christine Dickmeyer, her husband Harry Konwin and grandchildren, Branden Dickmeyer, Justin Dickmeyer, Kyle Konwin and Camille Konwin, daughter Mary Ellen Vlahos Small, her husband Tom Small and children Brian Vlahos and CJ Small and son Alexander Vlahos. Visitation will be Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 7:00 pm and a Memorial Service will start at 7:30 held at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel.
