Johnnie Archibeque

Archibeque, Johnnie Beloved father, grandfather, and friend, was embraced by the Lord and taken to his heavenly home, April 11, 2012. He was born on September 10, 1922 to the late Aurelia and Juan Archibeque. Johnnie was a great conversationalist and loved being around people - many with whom he established life-long relationships. He especially loved being around his family who will deeply miss him and cherish his memory forever. Johnnie is survived by his loving children, Melba Griego of Algodones, Sandra Gutierrez and husband Roger of Silver City, Johnny Archibeque and wife Esther of Bernalillo, Theresa Lucero of Bernalillo and Frank Archibeque of Chicago, Illinois; his precious grandchildren and great grandchildren; and all those that loved him and called him �grandpa�. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 7:30 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:00 am. Internment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers are Richard Torres, Stephen Barreras, Roger Gutierrez, Michael Lucero, Matthew Lucero and Ignacio Lopez. Honorary pallbearers are all of his friends from the Sandoval County Historical Society, NEA-NM, AARP and the Sandoval County Election Bureau.
