Age 63, a resident of Albuquerque, NM died peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2011 from a sudden illness. He was born to Adelina Lucero-Aragon and Jose Candido Aragon Sr. in Las Vegas, NM. Johnny was a Certified Nurse Assistant and worked at the New Mexico Stare Behavioral Health Center in Las Vegas, NM and several other Health Care facilities in Albuquerque, NM. He was a member of the Immaculate Church in Las Vegas, NM. Johnny loved to garden and was famous for growing watermelons, he also loved and cared for his pets and birds. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adelina Lucero-Aragon and Jose Candido Aragon Sr.; grandfather, Edward Lucero; brothers, Josefren Aragon, Candido Santana Aragon,Jr., Geronimo Jerry Aragon; grandson, Santana Jaramillo; nephews, Frankie Griego, Alex Noah Aragon, Steven Aragon, Edward Mark Aragon, Francisco Adolfo Griego; nieces, Adelina Parson, Frances Aragon-Ortega and Pearl Aragon-Peralta. Johnny is survived by his daughter, Adelina Aragon-Romero and husband Eugene; granddaughter, Yolanda Romero; sisters, Maria Griego and husband Frank, Jesusita Susie Gallegos, Dolores Pacheco and aunt, Fannie Duran all of Las Vegas, NM.; brothers, Robert Aragon and wife Molly, Edward Lalo Aragon and wife Teresa; sisters, Tillie Gross, Cecilia Parson and husband Gilbert, Marylou Archuleta and husband Albert; devoted friends, and neighbors, Gilbert and Annette Saiz and Marzetta Buell all of Albuquerque, NM and many nieces; nephews; cousins and friends. Johnny will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Rosary to be recited at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 301 Stover Ave. SW on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 12:00 pm; A Communion Service to follow at 12:30 pm. Interment will be Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 11:00 am, Los Vigils Cemetery, Las Vegas, NM. Casket Bearers are, Ray Aragon, John Edward Aragon, Robert Lee Aragon, Gabriel Archuleta, Carlos Parson and Rudy Griego. The family would like to thank the Lovelace Care Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for Johnny. Johnny's care has been entrusted to:
