Barrientes, Juan Jose "Yogi" Age 75, a resident of Albuquerque for over 60 years, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014. Juan loved baseball and was a NY Yankees fan, he coached baseball all the way from little league to semi pro. He liked to play cards, loved westerns, music, art, singing, and visiting with friends and family. Juan was a very giving person and everyone loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents Juan and Francis Barrientes; two brothers, Frank Barrientes and Florencio Cedillos and a great grandson, Matthew Shije. Juan is survived by wife, Oralia Barrientes; five children, Kathy Duran (Ramon), Betty Lou Jones (Richard), Mary Francis Garcia (Ricky), Johnny Joe Barrientes (Veronica), Susan Garcia; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; nine siblings, Guadalupe Barrientes, Cecilia Gueren, Manuel Barrientes, Ernest Cedillos, Rebecca Ponce de Leon, Delores Young, Romano Cedillos, Rafael Cedillos, Roman Cedillos, Jr. A Visitation will be held Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary Chapel of Angels, with a Rosary to follow at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014, 9:00 am, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd, NW.
