Johnny E. Brown

BROWN - Johnny E. Brown, Sr., age 71, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home while surrounded by his loving family, on the early morning of Friday, May 21, 2010. He was born in Dixon, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque. He retired from the Albuquerque Public School System. Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Annabelle “Anna” Brown; his children, Debbie Abeyta and husband Leonard, Marie Brown and Vincente Garcia, Sandra Banghart and husband Bill, Johnny Brown Jr. and wife Bernice, and Chris Brown; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his brother, Rudy Brown of Espanola; sisters, Ida Herrera of Albuquerque and Lina Anezcua of Las Vegas, NM; many other relatives and friends. Johnny will be greatly missed by all. A rosary will be recited Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, where Services of Christian Burial will follow at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be at San Carlos Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Mark Saiz, Joe Brown, Alex Garcia, Vince Garcia, Rudy Brown and Isaiah Abeyta. Honorary Bearers will be Leonard Abeyta, Bill Banghart and Antonio Garcia.
