Montoya, Johnny C. Jr.
Age 62, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 in Socorro, NM. He was born in Socorro on November 21, 1952, to Juan and Laisita Chavez Montoya. Johnny was a very caring and friendly person and loved talking to people. He managed to keep his positive outlook and humor through his many years of illness. He loved listening to country and spanish music and enjoyed making picture frames and trunks for storage.  Johnny's humor and laughter will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Frank Lucero; and his sister-in-law, Patricia Montoya.  Johnny is survived by his brother, Tony Montoya; sisters, Judy Benavidez, Gloria Lucero, Mary Lou Montoya and Corrine Armijo. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services -Socorro Chapel, 309 Garfield, Socorro.  Services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 10:00 am at the El Buen Pastor Church, South Park St, Socorro.  Interment to follow at the Socorro Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Norma Jean Padilla, Elric Padilla, David Anaya Jr., Daniel Padilla, Joshua Montoya, Tony Montoya. Honorary Pallbearers are Najiah Lucero, Dylan Edwards, Jacob Montoya, Gavon Padilla, Norman Aguilar, Carlos Anaya, Gregorio Holguin, Luciano Gandara.  Johnny's care has been entrusted to
