Johnny Toya

Toya, Johnny Age 67, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and companion, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 4, 2013. He was a lifelong resident of Jemez Pueblo,NM, currently of Albuquerque. Johnny was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, who served his country during the Vietnam War. Johnny is survived by his loving companion, Regina Jaramillo; his children, John Michael Toya and wife Deann, Kennerd Tsoi, John Ross Tsoi, Mark Tafoya and Patricia Toya and fianc� Irvin; his grandchildren, Michael Gachupin, Mikayla, Juanita, Leighann Romero, Preston Charlie, Taylor, Lane, and Tahi Toya. Also surviving are his brother, Charles Toya; sister, Marie Vigil and Clara Gachupin; other numerous relatives; caregivers, Addie Stiles, Mary Padilla, Crystal Waquie, Debbie Tarango; best friends, Johnny Barajas, Alfred Padilla and many other friends. Johnny will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose hearts he touched. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the family home in Jemez, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the San Diego Church, Jemez Pueblo, NM. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Casket Bearers will be members of the Jemez Veteran's organization. Honorary Bearers will be Leo Chinana, Franklin Casiquito, Johnny Barajas, Robert Aragon, Mark Sando, Alfred Padilla and Lawrence Avila.
