Jordan "Jordy" Wesley, 31,beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, entered this world on Oct 27th, 1992 at SHAPE, Belgium hospital in the city of Mons. Jordan, a current resident of Albuquerque, passed on to the Heavens early morning of May 15th, 2024 in the comfort and safety of his bed next to his mama.
Jordan was born with Cerebral Palsy and family made sure he lived his life to the fullest extent possible. Jordan loved going to the Mall, he loved the zoo, the aquarium and most of all family gatherings. Jordan was also a ladies man and he absolutely loved to flirt, which is probably why he liked his outings and how he aquired the nickname "Mr. Steal Ya Girl".
Jordan was a light in so many lives and inspired those around him to achieve their dreams and aspirations just by simply being himself.
Jordan was surrounded by a wonderful DD Waiver Team to include, Care Managers, Amanda, Aura, and Angela, Service Coordinators Charles, Ryan, and Andrea, Speech Therapists Molly and Demarre, Nutritionist Ryan, agency RN's, Robin, Denise and Jessica and his beloved Physical Therapist, Laura.
We'd also like to send a heartfelt thank you to his amazing Alianza family.
Jordan was also surrounded by a wonderful medical team: Dr Toni Benton, Dr. Jennifer Phillips and Dr John Phillips and all of the wonderful PA's, RN's, CNA's and MA's at the UNM Family Practice.
Jordan is survived by his loving family, Mom, Cordelia Cannon, Dad, Michael Cannon, Brother, Jonathan Cannon and wife, Rachel Cannon. Sister, Yasmeen Cannon. Niece, Nimah Cannon, nephew, William Cannon, Uncles Louie Zamarron, Rick Zamarron and Joaquin Zamarron. Last but by no means, least, his beloved Grandmother, Angela Zamarron, who would affectionately sing to him "Chortnan Chortnan Bread....grandma loves Chortnan Bread".
Jordan is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Luis Zamarron Sr.
His presence will be greatly missed. His smile is forever etched into our hearts. His laugh will always ring in our ears. His beautiful brown eyes are stored in our memories forever.
Our beautiful baby boy, walk from sunrise to sunset and run with the Angels until they give up first. Vaya con Dios, mijo.
