Jorge ‘Gizmo’ Martinez passed on October 18th, 2020. He is survived by his mother, Sonia Martinez; his children Selena, Isabel, and Javier Martinez and his grandchildren Jayce and Ella Carrillo. He is preceded in death by his father, Jorge Blanco and his daughter, Taliya Martinez. Jorge was born in El Salvador and grew up in Simi Valley, California. He relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1999 where he was a service manager in the tire industry for many years. He was known for his love of music, dancing, food and sweet stuff, backyard boogies, and movies. He was kind, generous, humble, funny and he loved kids, especially his own. He was the life of the party no matter where he went. He was a loved father, son, friend and papa Jorge.
