Jose Jesus Bachicha, born in 1941 in Villanueva, New Mexico "in the dark."

Cherished Father; Adored Grandfather, Precious Brother, Treasured Friend.

A  humble  "working man" who used the talents God gifted him to help his family, friends, AA, village and strangers.He was grateful for all that was brought into his life and was always working on himself to become a better human being. He was generous and invested himself and his resources to help create quality in other's lives.

Jose was a joyful and hardworking apple farmer and rancher. He was devoted to the AA principles and a loyal member of the 4848 Club where he learned to help others find their way to faith and sobriety. To his family at the Isleta Club he leaves his eternal love and support.

We were blessed to know you "pops, dad, JJ, brother, uncle, friend". You were a kind, sweet, funny, strong, brave and wise man. Although your passing leaves us with broken hearts, we rejoice in your passage into the arms of Jesus. You are hand in hand with your "darling Clara" and surrounded by loved ones. We love you. We will always love you and we SHALL see you again.

On the day he passed bells were rung at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in the village of Villanueva as is the tradition.

A rosary has taken on his behalf. There will be a Mass Intention at Our Lady of Guadalupe church in the village of Villanueva on Sunday, January 21st at 11:00am.
