Jose Angel Duran

Jose Angel Duran, age 57, passed away August 9, 2021. He was born in Shamrock, TX, August 22, 1963 to Martin and Guadalupe (Solis) Duran. Raised in Plains, TX and graduated from Plains High School in 1982.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Guadalupe Duran; siblings: Refugia Duran, Jose I. Duran, Maria Luisa Ward, and Luis and Alejandro Duran (twins).

The past 11 years Angel shared his life with his partner and the love of his life Josie Vigil in Albuquerque, NM and her two daughters Maria (Robert) Garcia and sons Marcus and Darius Garcia and Nicole (Pete) Martinez and her two daughters Devyn and Marisela Cordova.

He is also survived by his siblings: Ana Maria (Jesus) Gonzalez of Plains TX, Victoria (Vicente) Delgado of Plains TX, Martin (Rosalia) Duran of Seattle, WA, Armando Duran of Post, TX, Ruben Duran of Plains, TX, Maria Elena (Jesus) Rodriquez of Plains, TX, Luis (Lynn) Duran of Plains, TX, Victor (Cheryl) Ramos of Brownfield, TX, and Lube Brown of Denver City, TX; 33 Nieces and Nephews.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
