Age 75, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM passed away peacefully Saturday, May 26, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Anita Martinez; brother and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diane Martinez; sons, Jose P. Martinez II and wife Marie, Christopher Zimlich, Michael Zimlich; grandchildren, Celeste, Jose III, Alexis, Brian, David, Christopher, Theresa, Kevin, Rhiannon, Hannah, Tiffany, Alex, Blake, Ryan; great-grandchildren, Dean, Christopher, Lakota; numerous nieces and nephews. He retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 611. Jose loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. A Visitation will be held at 9:00 am with the Rosary being recited at 10:00 am following with the Funeral Service at 11:00 am, Friday, June 1, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Road Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
